Beo's Marathon

Date: 24th May 2008, 10.30pm

Race route: From jurong west st 81, to jalan barha, to jalan boon lay, to boon lay way, to jurong town hall rd, to teban garden...

I not sure what is the distance, but i manage to finish the route within 1 hour non stopping (stopped a few times for taking photos, haha.... )

*anyone staying in jurong west want to join me for running? ;p

Final Year Project - Updates 1

Been busy with my final year project recently. It's our holiday now and yet we still have to go back school rush for the robot arm.
Up to date, we 0nly manage to control 3 fingers. Got to finish a robotic arm which can function like a human arm by July. The schedule is a bit packed, and i really hope that we can finish by July...

Henderson Wave Bridge

Henderson Waves – Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge - spans Henderson Road to connect Mount Faber Park to Telok Blangah Hill Park. The wave-forms will be lit with attractive LED light from 7pm to 2am daily, giving the bridge an illuminative glow.

Getting to Henderson Waves:
By Bus:	take bus service number 131, 145, 176 or 648 alight at bus stop along Henderson Road, take the staircase up to Mount Faber Park.
By Car:	Parking is available at Mount Faber Carpark D (17 lots) and Telok Blangah Hill Park Carpark 1 (17 lots) & Carpark 2 (total 39 lots)

I always wanted to visit the bridge after the opening, but didn't had the chance. Since my friend is driving, so we decided to drive up and take a look since it is also one of the best spots in Singapore to catch panoramic views of the city, harbour and the Southern Islands.

As the photos i took are not clear so i suggest you to go up and take a look at the bridge.

At night, the bridge will also dazzle with colour-changing LED lights. The lights display will be on between 7pm and 12am daily.

The Southern Ridges comprise a 9-kilometre chain of green, open spaces spanning the rolling hills of Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park and Kent Ridge Park before ending at West Coast Park.

It is an area steeped in history and is home to some of nature’s greatest gifts of flora and fauna. It is also one of the best spots in Singapore to catch panoramic views of the city, harbour and the Southern Islands.

Robotic lesson @ Singaproe Science Centre

The respond for the robotic program this June holiday is quite bad. We only managed to get a few kids for the robotic class. This coming wednesday will have another class. Just hope to have more kids joining the program. (so that i can earn more... haha)

Someone stole mine 5 CK undies, 4 renoma undies, 1 C-IN undies, 2 shorts, 5 Tee shirts & a jacket..

OMG.... I am so sad now... all my fav t-shirts, polo tees, UNDIES are now all GONE... and it is with someone now.... That someone must be trying on my undies and tee shirt now... happily smiling with the new undies and tee shirts he received from ME.... Just over one night he received so many gifts. OH SHIT.....

WHY WHY WHY............... i cant sleep tonight already......... i cant stop thinking about it.....

Week 5 of school vacation

Oh.... was so busy promoting wallpaper as well as teaching robotics in Nanyang Primary School. 4 weeks had passed, another 4 weeks to school reopen. Just hope to show some results to show my lecture and get an 'A' for this industrial Training Program Module.

Been distributing flyers, meeting clients all this while. Normally, if a person wants to meet up to feel/see the quality of the wallpaper, we will ask them to go to our website to view the design first before making an appointment. Because we will end up wasting our trip down if they don't like our designs.

For the past few weeks, I met up quite a number of clients. Most of them are very understanding and nice but some are very inconsiderate. Haiz... i have no choice but to endure. Hoping i can still take this job as my part time even after school reopened.

Went to teach Robotic this afternoon at Pei Hwa Primary School. Today we taught them 'how to build a robot'... They get to learn how to use simple tools and identify different parts of robots. During my time we play sand, but nowadays young kids play robots. Haha...

Saw this butterfly nearby the school. Hoping my caterpillar will turn into one as beautiful as the above butterfly. Hehe...
