It's 1st August and our Ghost Month (鬼月) starts . The opening of the gates of Hell, permitting all ghosts to receive food and drink.
Just so unlucky, forgotten about the ghost month and i still came back home so late just now. I went to watch The Mummy with kiehl's boys and the movie turned out to be a rather comedy show, not really worth watching... Hehe...
Along the way home, i see not many people offering food, burn incense and joss paper. Not like before where you can see lots of people offered joss paper and food on the first night. I wonder what will happened if one day everyone just stopped doing it. Haha..
It was 12.15am when i reached my block. From a far distance, i saw a guy waiting for lift. I was like quickly walk towards the lift and hoping to take the lift with him (haha.... i am not scare, just in case only). But he is not kind and friendly at all, he don't even wait for me and i have to take the lift myself. (Maybe he is more scare then me, haha)
Kind of interesting... Haha... no wonder i don't feel the urge to wear any skinny jeans this year. I don't have a big chest, so i don't think V-neck Tee will look nice on me too.
But if i have the chance, i don't mind trying leather jeans.. ;p
Our supervisor is getting more and more demanding and asked us to do something not within our capabilities. We had rush out the 2nd stage of the hand yesterday. We had modified the motors arrangement so to minimize the space available. We have to make sure the total weight of the hand will not exceed 10kg. if not the 1st degree of freedom motor will not be able to carry the whole hand up (this is the most difficult part).
Our supervisor is not very pleased with the 2nd stage of hand we made. He said it doesn't look like a human hand. And we got to recreate and redesign another hand that looks like a normal hand.
Today did my Digital Signal Processing lab test paper. The paper is very eazy, haha... think can get 100 marks for that paper. Count down one month to final exam from now...
We went to Meritus Mandarin, Chatterbox for dinner. Too bad, i ate too full just now at park mall, so i just had salads and a mango pudding. It's my first time going up so high @ orchard (38th floor). On top, I can even see the construction at IR marina bay. William had the famous chicken rice but it taste the same at those normal selling in coffee shop. Haha... But alright lah, we pay for the environment...
Wei Xin and Calvin's birthday coming soon. So we had an early celebration having buffet at Park Mall. Actually don't intend to eat a lot as i going to have a second dinner with brother william de, initially wanna get small potion from different kind of dishes, but ended up taking a lots..... (And worst thing is i forgotten to take fruits) ...
Went to Ikea with Justin and Paul. Hehe... We was having so much fun at Ikea... Look at those photos and you will know... Haha...
We had 6 nuggets, fries meatball, cheese cake for our "tea break". Paul was having his braces on and he only can eat cheesecake.. Haha... i suffered that before and i know it's painful.. so bear with it..
Was so unlucky today.... I found out my ez-link card was damaged when i was about to take MRT... it cannot scan anymore... have to replace a new one at jurong east tomorrow... :<
Our project is divided into 3 parts; Vision, I-Limp & I-Touch.
Me and another friend with be in charge of building a robot hand (I-Limp). Just drew a rough of how our robot's hand going to be look like. It will have 5 fingers, 3 big motors, 15 small motors and it going to be function like a human's hand. We really doubt our ability as it's our first time building this kind of structure. No trainers are there to help us and we have to depend on ourselves. Anyway, just hope for the best!!!
The correct way to cook instant noodles without harming our bodies and health. Normally, how we cook the instant noodles is to put the noodles into a pot with water, throw in the powder and let it cook for around 3 minutes and then it's ready to eat.
This is the WRONG method of cooking the instant noodles.
By doing this, when we actually boil the ingredients in the powder, normally with MSG, it will change the molecular structures of the MSG causing it to be toxic.
The other thing that you may or may not realize is that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days for the body to excrete the wax after you have taken the noodles.
CORRECT METHOD :
1. boil the noodles in a pot with water. 2. once the noodles is cooked, take out the noodles, and throw away the water which contains wax. 3. boil another pot of water till boiling and put the noodles into the hot boiling water and then shut the fire. 4. only at this stage when the fire is off, and while the water is very hot, put the ingredient with the powder into the water, to make noodle soup. 5. however, if you need dry noodles, take out the noodles and add the ingredient with the powder and toss it to get dry noodles.
Finally the third day and the last day of event. Feeling so tired and sleepy... :< But still, able to stand throughout the day. Berry replaced Garrick today and four of us standing outside Heeren. We met Lin Xiang Ping today. Haha, she had her glasses on and we were unable to recognize her. Anyway, she is nice and don't mind taking a photo with us.. Hehe
I was standing outside Heeren with Garrick, Justin and Paul. Ask quite a number of our friends to support kiehls and collect "free" samples and we also took lots of instant photos with them too. Hehe... There was also a irritating 7th month 'Ge Tai' from Hong Kong beside heeren and we learnt a lots of dance steps from them too... Haha

It's kiehls since 1851. Having the largest number of 40 kiehls boys ever promoting for the new store at Ngee Ann City. blear blear blear... Met quite a number of artistes today in the opening but unable to take photos with them.. Sadzzz... Was busy distributing pamphlets the whole day, standing from 12pm to 8pm, was quite tiring but it's fun.

I always think it is more then enough to just celebrate mums birthday. But after celebrated mum's 56th birthday recently, (and when i looked at his expression) i finally felt how my dad feel when their son or daughter only celebrate their mum's birthday and not his...
But nothing is too late... will try harder to be a good son, always...
